- My A500 has 5 meg memory ...
- and it has WB 2.1 ...
- but I have a 14400 modem on the A500, so I see some speed compared
- to 2400 bps ...
- Now, what you need ...
- KS 2.04 WB 2.1 (minimum) AmigaOS 3.1 (much better)
- A local internet provider with a PPP connection available.
- You may need a faster modem, 'cause some ISPs wont't permit
- connection slower than 9600 bps.
- The Amiga TCP/IP 4.0 demo package.
- The PPP 1.30 (eval) package.
- The iNTERiNSTALL 151 package.
- ALynx for a text based WEB browser.
- AmiFTP to get files.
- I suspect Amosaic may need more than 3 meg.
- Lots of comments in this newsgroup are from people who have
- crashes due to lack of memory.
